The SCCLCV typically gives out three to four awards at its annual fundraiser. Honorees generally fall into the following categories:
- Lifetime Achievement
- Environmentalist of the Year
- Legislator of the Year
- Green Business of the Year
However, we have also bestowed Environmental Organization of the Year and Special Recognition awards.
Generally, awards are not given to people employed to do environmental work. Awardees should have done some outstanding or unique environmentally related work or achievement in the past year within Santa Clara County.
